Arthouse is committed to protecting your privacy and any information we collect about you will be stored safely and securely in accordance with The Data Protection Act 1988 and in accordance with UK Law.

Arthouse does not share its data with any other company.  If, in the future, Arthouse wishes to send you special offers from other affiliated companies, it will ask your permission before doing so.  We will never assume that it’s just ok!

Arthouse’s secure online credit card processing uses encrypted SSL (secure socket layer).  Arthouse will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.  Arthouse will always attempt to keep data up to date and accurate.  You can check what information Arthouse holds on you by emailing us.  We commit to deleting or correcting any discrepancies promptly.

Arthouse may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site.  This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser.  You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening.  The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

Arthouse customer service and support is normally available on 020 8390 2307, Monday to Saturday 9:00am to 5:30pm.  You will find an answer phone available outside of these hours.  Please leave a message and a member of staff will return your call as soon as possible.

Pricing

All goods offered for sale through our website are shown exclusive of VAT and in Pounds Sterling (£).  Prices do not include postage and packing which will be calculated together with the VAT payable during the online ordering process.

We accept payment in Pounds Sterling (£) by Cash in the gallery or by the following credit/debit cards: VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, Solo or Switch.

Delivery

All orders from the website will be dispatched via courier normally within 7-10 working days or less.  Arthouse will inform you if any delay occurs and you will be informed of the modified delivery date.  Please advise us if you do not receive your item(s) within 7-10 days of placing your order so that we can trace the parcel.

Returns

All orders are carefully checked before dispatch.  Occasionally, items are damaged, defective or unacceptable and we will make every effort to rectify the situation and Arthouse will do its reasonable best to ensure that you are fully satisfied with your purchase.

Goods that have been ordered specifically cannot be re-stocked or refunded (unless damaged on delivery), as suppliers will not accept cancelled order returns.

If the goods are damaged in-transit or faulty, please notify us within 2 days of receiving them.  Please keep all the packaging material and we will arrange to have the item returned at our expense.  You will be given the option to have the product replaced at no charge to you on a convenient date or to have a full refund.  This does not affect your statutory rights.

Goods that are not acceptable for any other reason may be returned within 7 days for a refund but you must contact us first for authorisation.

Some of the goods sold by Arthouse are handmade and may differ slightly from those illustrated on the website.  It is the nature of handmade artworks.  Any such items returned for a refund which are not defective or faulty will be subject to a 20% re-stocking charge.  This does not affect your statutory rights.

Refunds will be given at the discretion of the Company Management.

Complaints

Any complaints about the service provided should be detailed in writing, giving the nature of the complaint to Arthouse and we will endeavour to respond within 5 working days, keeping you informed as to the progress of the complaint.

Privacy Policy

On placing an order you will be given the opportunity to decline receipt of further emails from us. Arthouse conforms fully to the Data Protection Act 1998, and will not sell or hand out your information to others.  Any information that we hold about you will be accurate and up to date, and is available for you to view on request by email. Should any information not be accurate, we will amend or delete it accordingly.  If you have any questions about privacy, please contact us at our Head Office.

Law and Jurisdiction

The Contract shall be deemed to be made in England between Arthouse and the Customer, which would be governed by the Laws of England, and any dispute arising shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the English Court.
